Graded Unit 1 - River Leven: Final Models

researched sustainable and environmentally friendly models that would be enjoyable and encourage people to go outdoors. I wanted to create models that were accessible to as many people as possible without damaging the surrounding areas or animal habitats.

The models I decided to model were:

  • Bench - The client wanted people to enjoy their surroundings.

  • Bike hire station - The client wants to encourage people to go outdoors and enjoy their surroundings.

  • Bird Hyde - Another activity people in the community could enjoy without disturbing any of the wildlife.

  • Bridge - The client suggested putting a bridge over a large sewer pipe which is currently an unattractive sight across the river.

  • Fishing spot - Although people fish currently in the area, they are not proper fishing spots and they are not accessible to many.

  • Flower - beneficial for ecosystems and wildlife as well as brightening up the area.

  • Information post - People could see updates or information on what was going on in the community.

  • Polytunnel - Helping to teach people in the community about growing their own food and plants.

  • Tree - An apple tree to encourage growing own food and promote healthy eating.

  • Visitor center - The client wanted a visitor center where it could be used by the community and for potential tourist visiting.
